Xiid Installers
For the Xiid Commander and the Xiid STLink, there are two installer variants available:
The Xiid Connectors only have the Base Installer available.
Auto-Activation Installers
Auto-Activation Installers have the Activation Code for the software component embedded directly in the installer's filename.
Xiid's software installer will extract the activation code from the name and use it to automatically activate after installation.
These installers are often preferred because they streamline the activation process for the software, eliminating additional manual steps. It is also necessary for elastic (e.g. containerized) environments where STLinks need to be deployed and torn down on demand.

Base Installers
Base Installers do not have any codes embedded in the software name and simply install Xiid software without automatically activating the product.
Base Installers require a secondary activation phase, either through a web portal or a command-line interface, where you will manually provide an activation code for the software.
