Zones View

The Zones View is one of the most important views in the Connector Portal. The Zones View shows all of the available Xiid Zones configured by the administrators. The key piece of information is the Connector IDs column.

Xiid Zones can be used for a wide variety of situations. For instance, if your organization is widely dispersed geographically, multiple Xiid Zones can be configured to restrict traffic to those regions. Xiid Zones can also be used to segment different classifications of data, for instance, an Internal classification zone, a Confidential classification zone, and a Restricted classification zone.

Data will never transit between the defined data planes of the Xiid Zones.

Xiid Zones have the following information, displayed in the Zones table. The information can also be edited by clicking on a specific Zone's row in the table.

Column	Description
ID	The internal identifier for the Zone. This ID is used in the customer's deployment activation code.
Name	The user-defined name of the Zone.
Description	The user-defined description of the Zone.
Connector IDs	All of the Connectors included within a specific Zone.
