Xiid Enterprise Management

Managing software across an enterprise environment can be difficult. Fortunately, Xiid makes our software easy to deploy and update!

The Xiid Enterprise Management Solution only supports Windows devices at this time.

Prerequisites

In order to use the Enterprise Management Tools from Xiid, you must have the following infrastructure set up in your environment:

1. A Windows Domain Controller with Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policy Management.
2. An Identity Management Agent (Agent Configuration Portal) set up on your Domain Controller.
3. Identity Management and RDP Agents are already installed on their respective machines, as automated installation of these agents is not currently supported.

There are three Xiid Enterprise Management tools available:

• Xiid Group Policy Template (.admx and .adml files)
• Xiid Enterprise Management Powershell script
• Enterprise Management executable for STLink

The Group Policy Templates are required to manage any of Xiid's software on client and server machines. There are two .admx files, which define the policies within the Xiid template and the location of the policies. There are also two .adml files which provide the localized strings (only available in English currently) for the policies.

The Enterprise Management Powershell script does the heavy lifting for installing and updating software across all of your machines.

The Enterprise Management Executable is used to bulk-create Entrypoints for all of your client-side machines for ease of deployment across a large number of employees.
