Xiid Glossary

Geocluster

A cluster of Xiid Connector clusters, comprising all of the Connector Nodes in the Xiid platform.

Xiid Certificate

A custom SSL certificate created by Xiid's Certificate Authority with additional data embedded in the certificate.

Xiid Connector Customer

An individual tenant within a multi-tenant Xiid Geocluster.

Xiid Route

A client or server-side connection path to a resource, which is configured within Xiid's platform.

Xiid Zone

A logical boundary of Connector nodes that defines which nodes are allowed to communicate with one another.
